Armed robbery Wednesday morning at a bank in southwest Sask.

There was an armed robbery in a Glentworth bank this morning.

 

On Wednesday, May 17 at approximately 9:45 a.m. Ponteix RCMP responded to a call of a robbery at a financial institution in the community of Glentworth, SK.

Initial investigation has revealed a lone male wearing a mask and carrying a firearm entered the institution and demanded money. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash heading south down Main St. No one was injured in the incident. 
 
The male is described as:
 
5 feet, 8 or 9 inches
Stocky build
Unshaven
Late 40s or early 50s
Wearing a black toque and a camouflage-style jacket
