SGI and Saskatchewan law enforcement will be focusing on new drivers and motorcycle riders throughout June. Police will be watching for new drivers and riders disobeying the restrictions under their respective Graduated Driver’s Licence (GDL) program.

On May 30, Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall  joined the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan (CHFS) to announce a $50 million donation and a new name for the children’s hospital and the foundation.

The current temporary disruption to emergency outpatient services at the Herbert and District Integrated Healthcare Facility has been extended an additional 12 hours. 

May 28 to June 3 has been declared Victims and Survivors of Crime Week in Saskatchewan, coinciding with the national victims week of the same name.  The theme for this year is “Empowering Resilience.”

The Cypress Hills Destination Area and the Maple Creek Main Street Program is pleased to announce that formal notification has been received from Heritage Saskatchewan that the Rex Café Buildings at 130 & 132 Jasper Street in Maple Creek (now the Daily Grind & Mountain Soul/Cara Lou's Vintage) have been selected to receive a Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan Heritage Award for Architectural Rehabilitation.

Please be advised that a temporary disruption to emergency outpatient services has been implemented at the Herbert and District Integrated Health Facility effective from now until Tuesday, May 30 at 7 p.m.
