Southwest hunters can go after white tailed deer

The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment is offering Big Game Management licences to increase the harvest of antlerless white-tailed deer in some portions of the province. Antlerless deer are adult females or young animals born in the spring of 2011.

Sask. T.Rex Scotty is on the road again

On Sept. 2, the community of Hudson Bay welcomes the Royal Saskatchewan Museum's travelling exhibit featuring Scotty the T. rex. Scotty will call the Hudson Bay Public Library home until the exhibit ends on November 28, 2011.

 The City of Swift Current announced the Riverdene washrooms will be closed for the rest of the season due to collapsed water lines at the location.

Planning underway in Old Wives Watershed

The Saskatchewan Watershed Authority and the Old Wives Watershed Association (OWWA) have signed a partnership agreement to begin development of the Old Wives Lake Watershed Protection Plan.
