Café Terra an oasis in Eastend

Tucked away on the west side of Pottery Street in Eastend, just southwest of Swift Current, is Café Terra.

What do you get when you mix goats, hay, and yoga mats? That’s right. You guessed it. It’s Goat Yoga. 

Officials in Val Marie and Grasslands National Park (GNP) are gearing up for a big celebration the end of July in honour of Canada’s 150th anniversary and inviting home-grown hockey legend Bryan Trottier to be part of the events.

One man’s enthusiasm for keeping western heritage alive will be celebrated this Sunday, July 9 at the Murraydale Stampede, as a newly-constructed announcer’s booth is dedicated to the memory of the late Garry Buchanan of Consul.
