Gerry Desrochers of Vestas – Canadian Wind Technology and Great Plains College president David Francis were among those on hand at the Swift Current Airport today as Vestas donated a wind turbine blade to the college’s new Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician program. The donated blade was previously damaged in a tornado but has never been used, making it ideal for the program’s needs.
