Innovation Credit Union members have voted in favor of Innovation’s proposal to become the first federal credit union headquartered in Saskatchewan. Of 17,214 who voted, 82% voted in favor of the Special Resolution. 

The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan (FCAA) has changed its start-up crowdfunding exemption to allow businesses in Saskatchewan and Alberta to raise funds from investors residing in those provinces.

Driven largely by continued interest in Saskatchewan’s southeast region, the December public offering of Crown petroleum and natural gas rights on Dec. 5 posted revenue of $9.6 million.

The Government of Saskatchewan is requesting public feedback on captive wildlife issues and policies as part of its review of The Captive Wildlife Regulations, 1982.

Santa lands at Gull Lake Theatre’s annual visit

Santa Claus came to town Dec. 2 at the Lyceum Theatre in Gull Lake. For more than twenty years, the theatre has hosted an annual Santa Day for members of the community and surrounding area.
