The Alberta College Athletic Conference officially named some Medicine Hat College athletes to some all conference teams March 2:

Isak Helland-Hansen Honoured as 2015-16 Men’s Volleyball ACAC South Player of the Year
The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference is pleased to announce that Isak Helland-Hansen of the MHC Rattlers has been selected as the 2015-16 ACAC South Men’s Volleyball Player of the Year.  Isak was selected for this award based upon his performance throughout the ACAC regular season.  Isak will now represent the ACAC in the CCAA Player of the Year selection process.
Isak Helland-Hansen, a second-year student-athlete in Ecotourism at Medicine Hat College, led his team to a 16-8 regular season record which ranked 2nd in the ACAC South Division.  Helland-Hansen had a fantastic season with 197 kills (2.81/game), 44 service aces and 144 digs.  Isak is not only a strong competitor on the court but he also puts a lot of effort into his classes.  Isak’s quiet leadership helps steady his teammates during matches and his work ethic inspires his team to perform at a high level.  He is extremely well-respected by his coaches and teammates and by other coaches and competitors across the league.
