New projects get some help from ADOPT

June 22, Federal Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz and Saskatchewan Agriculture Minister Lyle Stewart announced nearly $550,000 in new funding through the Agricultural Demonstration of Practices and Technologies Program (ADOPT). Sixty-six producer-led projects will receive funding to promote the adoption of new technologies and production methods to benefit Saskatchewan farmers and ranchers.

You know, it seems to me if the tar sands were so wonderful, their merits would speak for themselves. The tar sands wouldn’t need Dale Ferrel to come charging against every criticism with all guns blazing. “Me thinks he doth protest too much.” (Shakespeare)

Harper is being cruel to farmers

The contemptuous treatment of Canadian farmers/citizens by the Harper Conservatives is unbelievable. It should make most who voted Tory cringe in shame.

There are now more campsites available for those wanting to spend July 1 in a Saskatchewan provincial park. On June 28, just in time for the July long weekend, 98 new, electric sites will open in Meadows Campground in Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park.
