“It’s a beautiful day in the neighbourhood…”

Who can remember Mr. Rogers crooning those words on TV?
With that attitude the United Churches of Medicine Hat (Fifth Avenue Memorial & Westminster), Redcliff (Gordon Memorial) and Irvine (Peace) are working cooperatively to build community spirit during Love Week, August 12-19. Members and friends are pledging to devote an hour or more to a neighbourhood project—picking up trash, volunteering with a community organization, helping a neighbour—as a way of contributing to our communities. Watch for the colourful Love Week buttons and say thanks to the folks who give of their time, energies and resources to make southeast Alberta and even better place to live. If you want to participate, pick up your Love Week button at Westminster (101-6 street SE) before August 12 and share your selfies with Fifth Avenue ( This email address is being protected from spambots.
