The State of Local Emergency remains in Lethbridge County due to overland flooding. Flows have slowed in some areas throughout the day but there is still localized flooding throughout Lethbridge County. Crews will continue monitoring flooding overnight.

If you are aware of unauthorized pumping or draining of water on private property, please call Alberta Environment at 1 (800) 222-6514.

If you have damage to your property caused by flooding it is important to track your damages with photos, dates, and details for your insurance company.

If your buildings or above ground structures are in danger of flooding, please contact Lethbridge County at:

Daytime: call (403) 732-5333
After-hours: call (403) 328-5525 and follow the voice prompts.

Several roads are currently closed and remain impassable due to water levels building up above the height of the road. A map of current road closures will be posted on our website. If you are aware that water has impacted a roadway and it does not have barricades or signage, please contact the above numbers.

Please do not message the County on social media (Facebook/Twitter) for public works emergencies as these accounts are not monitored 24/7.
