Brooks RCMP Community Consultation Workshop take place March 1 at the Heritage Inn

Are you interested in helping make Brooks and region a safer place in which to live, work, learn and play?


The Brooks RCMP Detachment and Brooks and District Safe Communities Committee will be hosting a free Community Consultation Workshop at the Heritage Inn & Convention Centre March 1st from 6-9 p.m.   
The purpose of the Workshop is to provide individuals and groups in the City of Brooks and County of Newell served by the Brooks RCMP Detachment the opportunity to have input into setting priorities for the police in the upcoming years.    This will form the basis of a planning initiative that will identify activities and resources necessary to achieve outcomes that will not only meet community expectations but will - in an effective and efficient manner - enhance the safety and security of citizens.
 Rural and City residents, business owners, municipal and county governments, school boards, youth and youth groups, special interest groups (cultural or ethnic), health care providers including fire and EMS, seniors and provincial sheriffs are all welcome to attend.  Snacks will be provided.
