Pregnant women are invited to register for Healthy Eating for Pregnancy, an Alberta Health Services (AHS) prenatal nutrition workshop.

Led by a registered dietitian, this free, two-hour workshop provides pregnant women information about foods that meet prenatal requirements, which can benefit the health of both mom and her developing baby.
There is plenty of time for discussion and questions.
The workshop is offered monthly.
The next session is January 8, from   7-9 p.m. at Community Health Services, 2948 Dunmore Road S.E.
Call 403-502-8215 to register.
During this group session, participants will learn about:
• Prenatal multivitamin/mineral supplements.
• Important nutrients during pregnancy.
• Healthy pregnancy weight gain.
• Food safety while pregnant.
• How much food to eat.
• How to manage nausea, vomiting, constipation and heartburn.
These workshops are for all pregnant women, not just first-time mothers. Family members and friends can also attend. Child care is not available.
