Dance for Kindness takes place Nov. 12 in Brooks

On Nov.  12, the JBS Canada Center Field House in Brooks will be the site for an event which attracted 125 kind souls in 2016.

The Dance for Kindness dancer registration is open to the public. Registration is free but donations are accepted if participant are able. Co-organizer Gurpreet Gill is excited for the event.
"I really want people to support this," says Gill who is also looking for those who want to sponsor the event. "It's really for a good cause. Last year we had 125 people. This year we want to double it."
According to the website the event’s parent organization is called Life Vest Inside. It started Dance for Kindness in 2012. Brooks was one of "30 locations, spanning across 15 countries and over 3,500 participants."
The goals for the Dance for Kindness are to promote global unity, positive human interaction and overall kindness to one another. Life Vest Inside is a  non-profit organization with a mission to inspire, empower and educate people of all backgrounds to lead a life of kindness.
