JMH & Co. delivers $50,000 for APEX Business Challenge

Southeast Alberta accounting and business services firm JMH & Co. Chartered Professional Accountants (JMH) has gifted APEX clients the opportunity to receive up to $10,000 in cash to start or expand their business.


In total, JMH will be supporting the event with up to $50,000 in annual funding. Officially titled the APEX Business Challenge, this community Pitch Competition will benefit many businesses in Southeast Alberta.
JMH is one of Albert’s largest and locally owed Chartered Professional Accounting firms with offices in Medicine Hat, Brooks, and Calgary.
“In this Dragon’s Den-Style competition we invite clients to “Pitch” their business idea to a panel of experienced judges, which will be held in May,” Describes Tracy Stroud, manager of business development at the Medicine Hat College.
Stroud goes on to explain “JMH was one of the founding partners in the Entrepreneur Development Centre, and has played a vital role in operation and growth of the Medicine Hat College. As our partnership has grown, so has our APEX partnership. This year with the announcing of the APEX Business Incubator, an opportunity to support not only students, but local start-ups from the community became evident.”
