The Medicine Hat Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) has joined forces with the APEX Incubator to expand awareness of the many advantages of visiting and working in southeastern Alberta.

DMO Executive Director Jace Anderson says there was a natural fit between the organization he heads and the new APEX Incubator.
“The DMO is always working to build destination awareness, explains Anderson.
“We needed a skilled professional to help us do that, but didn’t have the budget to hire a full-time person on our own.”
Enter Sean Blewett, general manager of Community Futures Entre-Corp.
“Jace and I had a conversation about our goals with the Incubator, and we quickly found an opportunity to collaborate around marketing and communications,” Blewett explains.
“Our team at the APEX Incubator table was looking for a person to help us promote our services and success, and at the same time, provide advice to our clients when they need help from a marketing professional. By working together, we’ll be able to achieve these goals while also creating a solid job in the region.”
Ultimately, Carrie Clausen accepted the challenge of serving the two organizations as well as clients of the APEX Incubator.
Clausen brings a wealth of experience to the table, and is eager to contribute to the partnership.
“This is a unique opportunity to help people in this area succeed. I’m really looking forward to what we’ll be able to achieve together,” Clausen says.
