Armed robbery of Brooks' Mac's Convenience store Thursday

The Brooks RCMP are requesting assistance from the public in solving an armed robbery Oct. 6. 
 
On Thursday at approximately 3:05 a.m. a lone male entered the Mac's convenience store brandishing a knife.  The male forced the store clerk to empty the cash register and made off with a small amount of money. The male is described as Caucasian male approximately 6 feet tall weighing 160-180 pounds. The suspect was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and a grey mask covering the lower part of his face, he was also wearing a black t-shirt over the sweater and black jeans pants. Once the clerk showed the suspect that he had given him all the cash in the register, the suspect fled on foot with a small amount of cash.  No one was injured in this robbery.
