Brooks RCMP locate cocaine trafficking suspect

The Brooks RCMP have located and arrested David Mayol Pach on his outstanding warrant for trafficking cocaine.  

On Tuesday, May 10 Pach was located by investigators and taken into custody without incident in Brooks. 

Pach was found in possession of an ounce of cocaine with an approximate street value of $2,500 and faces additional charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.  Pach was held for a bail hearing and remanded into custody appearing in Medicine Hat Provincial Court on Tuesday May 17.

Pach’s arrest brings a successful conclusion to Project “KIBAKE” with all four identified targets Scott Allan Hancock, 33, Mohamed Abdi Ahmed 43, Mohamed Bashir Omar, 48, and David Mayol Pach, 34, arrested and charged.

The Brooks RCMP Detachment and Brooks RCMP Crime Reduction Unit encourage the public to report suspicious activity consistent with drug trafficking, use and abuse. 

The Brooks RCMP Crime Reduction Unit would also like to remind the public that SCAN - Safer Communities and Neighborhoods is an excellent resource to eradicate drug traffickers and other criminal activity from their neighborhoods.  Information on SCAN can be found on the internet by searching SCAN or by attending the Brooks RCMP Detachment and picking up an information package.
