New Brigden School seeing growth in numbers

New Brigden School is in the midst of a transition as it adjusts to being a Kindergarten to Grade 4 school after low enrollment numbers almost forced its closure a year ago.

Organizations that are planning a new (or existing) event for the Newell region may be able to tap into some funding to help with the costs, but have to get their applications in before Feb. 28 to be eligible.

For the first time, the Blood Tribe Police Service are hosting an elder’s information session to tackle the ever-present issues of elder abuse, fraud and scams.
