G3 Canada Limited (G3) announced plans March 20 to build two new facilities including its first primary elevator in Alberta, and further expand its grain origination network in Saskatchewan. G3 intends to build a new primary elevator south of Wetaskiwin in Central Alberta. The facility will be the first G3 location in the Province of Alberta. 

John Barlow, Member of Parliament for Foothills, announces the official launch of the Foothills Youth Advisory Committee. It is the vision of the Youth Advisory Committee to be a non-partisan community link between the youth of Foothills area and Federal Government representatives.

Law Day, hosted by the Canadian Bar Association – Alberta Branch (CBA), is taking place on April 21, in celebration of the 36th anniversary of the signing of Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

It is well over a year since 12 mares went missing from a grazing pasture at Tsuu T'ina Nation near Calgary and the RCMP Southern Alberta Livestock unit is hopeful that somebody with information will come forward.
