Medicine Hat runaway may be headed to Swift Current

Police are looking for a Medicine Hat teenaged girl who is believed to have run away with a teenaged boy and his 30-year-old uncle.

The Esplanade Arts and Heritage Centre Museum and Archives in Medicine Hat, working with local military genealogist Chris Enslen, and with the support of local defence supplier Meggitt Training Systems (Canada) Inc., have arranged for all of the records of all the men who enlisted in Medicine Hat for service during World War I to be digitally copied.

PSAC Forecasts 2012 to see increased oilpatch activity

The 2012 Canadian Drilling Activity Forecast, released today by the Petroleum Services Association of Canada (PSAC), forecasts a total of 15,100 wells drilled (rig released) across Canada for 2012. This is 10% more than the expected final tally of 13,700 for 2011.
