More seniors and persons with disabilities will be able to take advantage of 90 new affordable supportive living spaces that will be developed in Medicine Hat. As part of the Affordable Supportive Living Initiative (ASLI) grant request, each project is designed to meet identified unique needs in the community.

The Tomorrow Project visits Medicine Hat this month, giving local residents an opportunity to join the long-term research study into the causes of cancer.

The Alberta government is helping to develop up to 80 new affordable supportive living spaces in Medicine Hat and 40 spaces in Smoky Lake.


Motorists are advised that the Finnegan Ferry northwest of Brooks is now operating.
