Farmers helping farmers — giving grain to save lives

During the month of November, farmers are encouraged to donate grain to their local Western Feedlots or Richardson Pioneer location in support of prostate cancer awareness and Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood testing in rural communities. 

With numerous cases of Pigeon fever in southern Alberta horses, horse owners are advised to monitor their animals.
So far this year, about 20 horses have been infected with Pigeon fever in southern Alberta.
