Bill 6 consultations coming: AgCoalition ready

Although Bill 6 legislation passed into law at the start of 2016, officials with the Government of Alberta maintain there is still room for added details.

An Edmonton company is reaching the final stage of its project to build a biorefinery that will convert non-food canola oil and waste fats into next-generation, renewable transportation fuels that can replace or blend with conventional fuels.

Farm Credit Canada (FCC) is adding $500 million to its ongoing commitment to a loan program aimed at helping young farmers become established in the industry.

For more than 100 years, the North American Seed Fair (NASF) has once again been a success. The NASF is always a part of the annual Ag Expo at the Lethbridge Exhibition Park and this year it had 122 entries in total.
