Ted Menzies brings vast agricultural experience, industry leadership and community involvement as new Director on Ag for Life Board.
Ag for Life, an organization dedicated to delivering educational programming that serves to improve rural and farm safety and build a genuine appreciation of the impact agriculture has on lives, is bolstering the depth and experience of its board with the recent appointment of Menzies.

The heavy horse competition at the 2018 Frontier Days in Swift Current gave spectators an opportunity to witness the grace, agility and strength of these gentle giants while they performed various tasks.

The Saskatchewan Wheat Development Commission (Sask Wheat), the Alberta Wheat Commission (AWC) and the Manitoba Wheat and Barley Growers Association (MWBGA) are asking Prairie grain farmers to be prepared for the upcoming reclassification of 29 wheat varieties.

Improving livestock distribution on pasture

Many producers could improve the health of their range and pastureland by improving livestock distribution. Livestock distribution refers to the dispersion of grazing animals over an entire pasture.

Farm Credit Canada (FCC) has entered into a partnership with the Do More Agriculture (DMA) Foundation to create a network of mental health first aiders who can identify and support producers coping with difficult or unfortunate circumstances.
