Alberta RCMP Crime Mapping now available in Brooks

The City of Brooks is pleased to announce that Alberta RCMP Crime Mapping is now available online and will provide timely information to the public on the following crime types: mischief, missing persons, break and enters, stolen vehicles, theft from motor vehicles and theft under and over $5,000. 

For those who have experienced crime or tragedy, the Lethbridge Corridor Victims Services Unit is available to provide assistance.

Spitz plant is on the market

It has been a week since the Spitz plant near Bow Island was listed on the real estate market for a price tag of $2 million, and there has been strong interest in the business community.

More international students will have an opportunity to further their education through programs offered by Great Plains College.

Stephanie and Jonathan Beekman of Full Circle Plastics recently acquired $10,000 as winners of the 14th annual Chinook Entrepreneur Challenge.
