A total of 14 inspiration awards were given out this month to different influencers, individuals and groups across the province to celebrate Albertans taking a stance against violence in their communities.

Celebrating National volunteer week in their own style, the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass hosted their own event this April to commemorate the people who work so hard to dedicate their time to the community surrounding them.

Hoping to build a more functional facility for the town to help animals in need, the Nanton and District Animal Protection Society (NAPS) have been working on continued fundraising efforts since 2013.
