City agrees to a $250,000 grant for the Lyric

The Southwest Cultural Development Group (SCDG) members are thrilled after Swift Current City council voted to provide the Lyric Theatre with a conditional $250,000 grant over the next two years.

Integrated Facility survey now can be done on line

The Cypress Health Region has engaged in functional planning to replace its three existing Long-Term Care facilities in Swift Current, and plans to relocate these services into an addition of the Cypress Regional Hospital, located on Saskatchewan Drive in the city's northeast end.

Battleford Trail will be closed temporarily

A quick note from the City of Swift Current: Battleford Trail (Keene Drive to the West City Boundary) will be closed from approximately 1 p.m. Sept. 19 to 5 p.m. Sept. 20. Crews will be working on installing electrical cables for servicing the Highland Subdivision.
