When Cypress-Medicine Hat Len Mitzel was left out of the Alberta cabinet and Medicine Hat MLA Rob Renner lost his Environment portfolio during the Oct. 12 cabinet shuffle, it meant the southeast part of the province didn’t have a representative at the cabinet table.
