Students encouraged to apply for summer jobs

The Government of Saskatchewan is encouraging students to apply now for summer positions with the public service.


There was an announcement made Tuesday in regards to a new potash plant being built north of Moose Jaw by a German company called K+S Aktiengesellschaft. Following is the company's release:

The residents of two small villages southeast of Swift Current are coming to terms with a new reality of small-town living — they have no place in town to fill up when their vehicles need gasoline.


As of November 1st, the world’s third strongest bank, according to a report by Bloomberg, will have a presence in Swift Current.
