Swift Current Municipal RCMP/Provincial GIS  made arrests in a kidnapping investigation from a June complaint.

 

Young hockey players in southeast Alberta who may be looking to take their game to the next level now have that opportunity, thanks to a partnership between PRSD and NHL coach Willie Desjardins, who will be working through Global Sport Academy Group. The agreement with PRSD is the first franchise for the Calgary-based organization.

RCMP found body of missing man near Gravelbourg

On July 24, 2018, investigators from the RCMP Major Crimes Unit South located a body southwest of the town of Gravelbourg in a open area. The body was that of an adult male and the remains were transported to Regina for a forensic autopsy on July 25. The body is now confirmed to be 48 year-old Claude Landry. Mr. Landry's family was notified of the discovery.

Saskatchewan RCMP, in consultation with Manitoba Prosecution Services, has determined that there is not evidence to support criminal charges in relation to land transactions associated with the Global Transportation Hub.

Tri get to Saskatchewan Landing on August 5

Prpick Boss Enterprises and Swift Current Multisport Club (SCMC) is hosting the inaugural Saskatchewan Landing Triathlon, August 5.

On July 21, Regina hosted their annual Bocce Ball Tournament. 14 teams from Regina, Estevan, Yorkton and Swift Current attended.

Two people have appeared in court in relation to the disappearance of Claude Landry of Kincaid.
