Sports fans can sometimes make the game

My wife is not a sports fan, but she loves to go to sporting events once in a while if only to watch the fans.
Can’t say I blame her.

Millar College of the Bible showed once again why the school’s athletic program is so highly regarded considering it has a population of 160.

Hard to believe, but it seems like winning the NCAA Frozen Four championship is more of a relief than it is a time for pure celebration and exuberance.

It was an ugly way to end game four for the Swift Current Broncos.

It was a trip of a lifetime — as were the ones from 2006 to 2012. Dakota Smith, a nursing student from the Medicine Hat College, hasn’t missed one since she was 15 years old and a student at Burstall School.

It can’t get much better for Kyle’s Baylee Gillanders and her University of Minnesota Gophers women’s hockey team. Well, it can, they just have to take care of business at home in Minneapolis this weekend.

It must have been a slightly different feeling for Harold and Pearl Plato March 3 at the Hope Evangelical Missionary Church in Burstall.
