CP Holiday Train in Swift Current, Dec. 6, 2013

The CP Holiday Train rolled into Swift Current on a bitterly cold day, with a wind chill of around -46 degrees Celsius at the time of its arrival. The weather conditions delayed its scheduled arrival in Swift Current, but people waited patiently in their vehicles and then braved the cold to welcome the train in the city. Deputy Mayor Denis Perrault welcomed the train to the community and CP employee Scott Nelson presented a cheque of $5,500 to Swift Current Salvation Army Captain Michael Ramsay. Melanie Doane and Doc Walker provided the musical entertainment.
