Doc's Town hosts cowboy poets, July 15, 2018

Written by

Two cowboy poets shared their observations about rural life with an appreciative audience at the cowboy poetry event hosted by Doc's Town Heritage Village at Swift Current's Kinetic Exhibition Park, July 15. People filled the pews of the old church building at Doc's Town to listen to Swift Current's Bryce Burnett and Brian Anderson of Hazlet. The heritage village is open to the public throughout the summer and admission is free. Hours of operation are from Friday to Sunday and holiday Mondays from 1-5 p.m. Various program activities take place every Sunday afternoon. There will be an antique tractor and classic car display on July 22 from 1-5 p.m., including a parade of vehicles.
