A large crowd welcomed the CP Holiday Train to Swift Current, Dec. 17. Snow started to fall during the train’s stop in the city, which helped to create a Christmas atmosphere. The entertainers at this year’s stop in Swift Current were country music artists Terri Clark, Kelly Prescott, and Dallas Smith. A cheque of $5,500 from Canadian Pacific was presented to the Swift Current Salvation Army's Major Don Grad during the event. This is the 19th year that the CP Holiday Train visited communities across Canada and the United States to raise awareness and support for local food banks.
