9th Annual Pharmasave Radiothon for Healthcare, Nov. 2-3, 2017

Written by

The 9th annual Pharmasave Radiothon for Healthcare took place in the lobby of the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, Nov. 2-3. The focus of this year’s campaign by the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation is on the renewal of maternity equipment at the Cypress Regional Hospital. An average of 400 babies are born in this hospital every year and some of the maternity equipment is at least 10 years old. The intention of the campaign is to raise $147,000 for the purchase of three new birthing beds and two Panda infant warmers. The response from individuals and organizations during the two-day Radiothon raised $82,815 for the campaign, but fundraising will continue to collect the full amount. Donations can still be made online at www.drirwinfoundation.com.
