Living Sky Casino Day of Sharing, Sept. 13, 2017

Written by

The Living Sky Casino in Swift Current hosted a Day of Sharing for elders and other community seniors, Sept. 13. The elders and seniors were treated to tea and refreshments, while they had an opportunity to win prizes at the different games set up in the event centre. The casino held the event as part of the new Day of Sharing initiative by the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA). The intention is for SIGA employees at the six casinos and central office to give back to the community. This volunteering effort by Living Sky Casino staff will include a clean-up project in the veterans section of the Mount Pleasant burial park at a future date. It was scheduled to take place on Sept. 14, but it was postponed due to inclement weather.
