Written by

Eight teams got wet and muddy to help raise funds for health care in southwest Saskatchewan at the 1st annual New Family Chiropractic Fun Muddy Mayhem in Swift Current, Sept. 7. A total of 44 people completed the 15 stations along the obstacle course, which included challenges such as pulling an ambulance, carrying sandbags, swinging on monkey bars, climbing a wall, and crawling through mud. The event was organized by the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation and raised a total of $7,200. This amount included entry fees, sponsorship, and a $1,000 donation. Proceeds will go towards the upcoming Radiothon fundraising goal of $147,000. The Radiothon takes place on Nov. 2 and 3 and funds will be used to renew maternity equipment at the Cypress Regional Hospital.
