Saskatchewan Abilities Council 2017 Ability Bowl Winter Kickoff in Swift Current, Feb.12, 2017

The Swift Current branch of the Saskatchewan Abilities Council hosted the 2017 Ability Bowl Winter Kickoff at ACT Park, Feb.12. The event featured a variety of fun activities, including sled bowling, ice skating and horse wagon rides, and was attended by an estimated 300 to 400 people over a period of four hours. The event was held to raise awareness about the 30th annual Ability Bowl, which will take place in Swift Current, April 22. The theme of this year’s family-oriented bowling event is Rock ‘n Bowl and the grand prize is a four-person ticket package to a Guns N’ Roses concert in Regina. The goal of the 2017 Ability Bowl is to have 45 participating teams and to raise $75,000. All proceeds from the event will support programs and services provided by the Swift Current branch of the Saskatchewan Abilities Council.
