Eliza Mary Doyle launches new album at Lyric Theatre, Oct. 11, 2016

Written by

Eliza Mary Doyle launched her new album, It Ain't What It Seems, at a concert at the Lyric Theatre in Swift Current, Oct. 11. This is the first album that she has produced under her own name. This concert was also the start of a 24-show tour across western Canada to promote the new album. She will be travelling with a four-piece band during the Saskatchewan portion of the tour and two musicians will accompany her when she performs in Alberta and British Columbia. Doyle is an experienced musician and well-known banjo player who has previously been a member of different disbanded bands, including the Midnight Roses in Swift Current and the Cracker Cats in Saskatoon. This album is a new approach for Doyle, who is writing and producing the songs under her name while collaborating and performing with various artists.
