Surging for a big basketball tourney

The U15 Girls SURGE basketball club won their own Southwest Showdown tournament June 10-11 in Swift Current scoring three straight relatively easy wins June 10-11. 

Free Hippie Rave Wear and Liquid Nite Club are working together to put on a fashion show June 10 to benefit breast cancer.

Over 100 junior and senior division high school rodeo contestants from across Saskatchewan competed for provincial honours at the Saskatchewan High School Rodeo Association (SHSRA) provincial finals, in Swift Current, June 2-5. The event took place under perfect weather conditions at Kinetic Exhibition Park's Magnus Newland Arena.

2016 Kaleidoscope of the Arts showcase was an amazing display of performance and traditional picture arts featuring students from the Prairie Rose School Division.

Vause thanks Broncos’ fans

As I finish my hockey career as captain of the Swift Current Broncos, I want to thank the Swift Current community.

It has recently been announced by Alberta Education that the Prairie Rose School Division will sponsor an "Internet on School Bus" project. This project will be completely funded by Alberta Education of the remainder of this year and through to the end of April, 2013.
