Area residents can enjoy a soul and Motown vibe as the next “Stars for Saskatchewan” concert arrives in early February.

Formerly one half of Canadian duo McMaster & James, Luke McMaster has returned to his performing roots as a solo artist.
Heavily influenced by such soul icons as Al Green, Hall & Oates and Marvin Gaye, his first solo album ALL ROADS was released in January 2013 and included his smash hit single, Good Morning Beautiful.
Swift Current Arts Council President Melanie Friesen notes McMaster has worked with some huge names in the music industry.
“Luke has opened for Randy Bachman, Justin Timberlake, and Christine Aguilera and been involved in writing collaborations with such global superstars as Rihanna,” Friesen says. “This will be a not-to-be-missed concert for music fans in our area.”
McMaster is proud to be one in a long line of successful musical prodigy hailing from Canada’s West and will offer Saskatchewan fans a first opportunity to preview brand new music from his upcoming album named TRENDING which will be released in late spring 2016, featuring  a collection of all new Retro Funk and Classic Soul tracks.
A limited number of tickets for the concert are available online for $45 at: www.ticketpro.ca or by phoning 1-888-655-9090. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door. The performance will be held Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sky Centre. For more information see: www.scartscouncil.ca.
