On Oct. 26, the Lyric theatre will host the talented roots rock band, Bros Landreth.

Traveling and touring with them is Donovan Woods, a critically-acclaimed Canadian recording artist, performer and songwriter.
Woods, who was nominated for Roots and Traditional Album of the Year at the 2014 Juno Awards, will open the show.  This multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter has had many of his songs featured in television shows, major motion pictures and commercials.
Piercingly honest and quietly anthemic, Woods sings with a striking sense of the world that is industrial southwestern Ontario. His self-deprecating humour and endearing comedy has him captivating audiences all over the world.
Following Donovan Woods, is Bros Landreth. Brothers Joey and David, along with their band, will take the stage with their bluesy wail of electric guitars, the swell of B3 organ, and the harmonizing swoon of two voices that were born to mesh. Hailing from Winnipeg, Bros Landreth have created a unique Americana sound mixed with a rootsy swirl adapted from their Northern upbringing.
The Bros Landreth albums are filled with mid-tempo rockers, butter-smooth ballads and cowboy lullabies. Their songs find inspiration not only in the landscape of the human heart, but also the windswept prairies the brothers know.
Woods’ jaw-dropping and plainspoken serenades will bring you back home to your roots, while Bros Landreth put on a performance that will make you swell with prairie pride.
Join us Oct. 26 at the Lyric Theatre, Swift Current. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the music will start at 8:30 p.m.
