Enjoy a heart-warming show Oct. 16 filled with music, merriment and mayhem as Saskia and Darrel deliver a fun blend of folk music, an unpredictable series of songs that change every time you see them.

They delight their audience with tales about prairie elevator, blue birds, war brides, Louis Riel, patchwork quilts, David Thompson and then surprisingly will break into Swiss yodeling or sing in Gaelic, Spanish, Dutch, German or French.
Great Plains is a veteran touring act with an easy, crowd-friendly style that instantly endears them to any audience.
They have toured extensively with Gary Fjellgaard for the last 10 years, and occasionally toured with Valdy, opened for Ian Tyson and too many Juno award winners to remember them all over the years.
They were awarded Top Folk/Roots album in Holland, Artist, Album and Songwriter of the Year from SCMA, received Top 5 People’s Choice awards, and have enjoyed many years airplay on CBC, CKUA and Top Indie folk/roots charts in Canada, the U.S.A. and Europe.
