Last year, it was Ricky Skaggs. This year, organizers for one of the most well known and beloved Sask. gospel jamborees did it again.

On April 22, the Frenchman River Gospel Jam’s (FRGJ) Board of Directors announced their two major headliners: Legends of Nashville, The Oak Ridge Boys, as well as Canadian Country Star Jason Blaine.
The 23rd Annual Jamboree will be held inside the Crescent Point Wickenheiser Centre in Shaunavon August 1-3.
“When the idea of the Frenchman River Gospel Jam (FRGJ) being able to attract a group like The Oak Ridge Boys, you could say the Board was a little excited” says Joel Sopp, Director of Promotions and Advertising. “And then we received word about booking a Canadian Country Star like Jason Blaine, and we knew we would have a fantastic line up for 2014.”
Some other acts returning include last year’s high energy Link Union, the hilarious comedy trio of 3-2-1 Improv, and many others.
“We truly believe that FRGJ is being recognized by world renowned musical artists as a viable and legitimate venue in the Jamboree Circuit. God is doing great things in Shaunavon, and we are humbled to be a part of this amazing opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the story of Salvation.”
