Midnight Roses win at SCMAs

Swift Current music gets yet another feather in its collective cap as the Midnight Roses were recognized at the Saskatchewan Country Music Association awards April 14 in Nipawin.

From July 28 to Aug. 1, young, budding music stars will have the chance to make rock and pop music outdoors, in the big top tent at Gowan’s Grove and on the Lyric Stage.

If you’ve never heard of Nova Scotia rocker Molly Thomason, don’t worry, you will.

The Swift Current Ag and Ex are telling southwest Saskatchewan and beyond to “Saddle Up for the Ride of the Century.”
