The Lyric Theatre’s Chautauqua Theatre Festival kicked off on Thursday this week, bringing six unique one-act plays to theatre lovers in the southwest. With many return performers and new acts as well, this year’s lineup offers something for everyone.

Audiences still have one more weekend to catch Swift Current Little Theatre’s spring production of Norm Foster’s Old Love, after the group’s successful opening last weekend. Pub Nights will be held at Great Plains College on March 22 & 23.

After a bit of a hiatus, Swift Current Little Theatre is back in action. This week, the group held auditions for their upcoming spring production – Norm Foster's 'Old Love'. The play follows Bud's journey over three decades, to finally earn the love of the woman he is smitten with.

Swift Current residents have a chance to look back on some of the sacrifices made by war veterans during a special presentation of Jake's Gift at the Lyric Theatre this weekend. With showings on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, there will be plenty of opportunities to take in this multi award-winning theatre performance.
