The Write Out Loud committee of the Lyric Theatre is pleased to announce a bonus Write Out Loud event, to take place Nov. 4, featuring Dianne Warren, who was awarded the Governor General’s Award for her novel Cool Waters.

Her new novel, Liberty Street, was released Sept. 22, and she is excited to share this new book with her Swift Current and area fans.
Accompanying Warren will be visual artist Heather Cline, who will work on a unique audience participation project in the lobby.
The musical entertainment will be announced at a later date.
Write Out Loud audiences have much to anticipate this fall.
Ted Dyck, who writes in a wide variety of genres, and is editor of Transition, the magazine for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Saskatchewan division, will appear at the Lyric Oct. 21, when Michael Eckert-Lyngstad will provide musical entertainment.
Dianne Warren will grace the stage on Nov. 4, and on Nov. 18, award-winning Regina author Ed Willett will be in Swift Current to read from one of three new novels being published this year, most in the fantasy/YA category.
Write Out Loud is offering a ticket subscription of seven tickets for the price of six, or $48; the tickets may be used one at a time, a few at a time or all at once.  There will also be a prize draw for a Kobo, to be made at the final event of the season in May. Each time a person attends an event, his or her name will be entered into a draw.
Write Out Loud takes place on the third Wednesday of the month, September through November, and February through May.  Admission is $8. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with entertainment to begin at 7 p.m.
The season is off to a great start and organizers are looking forward to another successful season, thanks to the enthusiastic and expanding audience.
