They say laughter is the best medicine, so let’s get healthy July 23 with Panic Squad.

For one night only the dynamic improv group will be have its audience in Rosebud exclaiming “my sides hurt!” and “I can’t feel my face” through bursts of laughter. This is the second year Panic Squad has performed in Rosebud.
“We brought them back because we packed the house last time to great response.” explains general manager Mark Lewandowski. “They’re such exciting performers. We always know it’ll be a great show.”
Panic Squad performs spontaneous comedy scenes based on audience suggestions and participation, much like TheatreSports and the TV show, Who’s Line is it Anyway? Their shows are clean and family-friendly and they aim to perform a high quality comedy show that is all-inclusive and non-offensive. No two shows are the same.
“They appeal to all ages and adapt the show to each audience. I’ve seen them before as a group of adults as well as in a crowd with a lot of children,” says Lewandowski. “Both shows were equally as funny for the whole audience. It’s something that you can bring your grandkids to and be equally entertained. Whether you’re a kid, a teen, or even a senior, they’ll have you laughing.”
The improv group will perform as part of Rosebud Theatre’s “Rosebud Presents” series where the theatre brings in outside entertainers to create a more diverse selection of entertainment for audiences and to extend their theatre season. Other upcoming “Rosebud Presents” performances this season include the play, Jake’s Gift on Sept. 23 and a concert on Oct. 16 by Juno award-winner, Steve Bell.
Panic Squad will be at the Rosebud Opera House for one show only on Wednesday, July 23 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $29. Note: this performance does not include a meal. Tickets can be reserved online at or by phoning the Box Office at 1-800-267-7553.
