2016 has been good to dance academy from Brooks

Rhythmic Soles Dance Academy’s (RSDA) competitive students from Brooks and County of Newell recently competed at the Catch a Rising Star Grand Championships in Drumheller and were named “Champions of the Year.”

Canada’s Badlands will play host to iconic Canadian country performer Paul Brandt this summer in the stunning Canadian Badlands Passion Play Amphitheatre Aug. 21.

The Canadian Badlands Passion Play is pleased to welcome Zeke the donkey back to the stage for nine performances from July 8-24 in Drumheller.

From Friday July 15-17 in Val Marie, the award-winning American poet and teacher Roger Mitchell leads the Grasslands Weekend Writing Experience.
