Oratorio Choir to start up again for the fall

As we moan about how summer has sped by all too fast, we can cheer ourselves up by thinking of good things to come. On Monday, Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m., Oratorio Choir has its first rehearsal of the season at Zion Mennonite Church. Later in the month we will hold the Annual General Meeting Sept. 25.

Lyric Theatre feeling the love this summer

Bachman in the Badlands Amphitheatre August 26

Known for its outstanding acoustics and stunning vistas that are home to the famous Canadian Badlands Passion Play, The Badlands Amphitheatre (Badlands Amp) is hosting four bands on the weekend of August 25 & 26.

The Fort Museum is hosting an event for the ages this year on Aug. 19. The Scarlet Through The Ages event is a night to celebrate the history of Fort Macleod as well as the country’s national police force that helped to shape Canada.

Swift Current’s Lyric Theatre won $30,000 in the National Trust for Canada's 2017 This Place Matters national crowdfunding competition.

Summer theatre is returning to the Empress Theatre in Fort Macleod, with the hilarious 1960s British farce, Black Comedy, running July 18-22.
